InterMountain Railway is no longer able to accept returns for non-warranty repairs.  

This includes, but is not limited to; sound upgrades, decoder CV programming, the repair of any item that may have gotten damaged or broken from operations or handling, etc.  If you are unsure if your issue is a warranty repair, please contact us first.

NON-WARRANTY ITEMS RECEIVED WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION MAY BE RETURNED WITHOUT ANY WORK BEING PERFORMED

 Please include a typed or handwritten (PLEASE PRINT!!) note describing the issue along with your contact information, including your full name, return address, telephone number and email address.

IMPORTANT: Please pack your item(s) carefully in their complete original packaging and put the original InterMountain box in an outer cardboard box with proper fill material around it so as to prevent damage during shipment.  Any product not returned in the complete original packaging will be subject to a repair fee if damaged.

We do not warranty, test, program or otherwise work on any aftermarket, non-original factory installed DCC decoders.  Any locomotive sent to us for repair with any aftermarket decoders will have the decoder removed prior to any repair work done, and returned to you (not re-installed) with the locomotive once any repairs are completed.
